Ravinder Singh Saini as the new member of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission for a five-year term. His appointment marks a significant milestone in a distinguished career that spans nearly four decades of dedicated service in the power sector.

Born on July 1, 1965, in New Delhi, Er. Saini hails from a values-driven family—his father, Sardar Ajmer Singh, and his late mother, Smt. Mohan Kaur, instilled in him the foundations of integrity and service. He completed his schooling at Khalsa School (Lajpat Nagar) and Government Model School (Vivek Vihar) before earning a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Regional Engineering College, Rourkela (now NIT Rourkela) in 1986. Er.Ravinder Singh Saini joined the Punjab State Electricity Board now Punjab State Power Corporation Limited as an assistant engineer on May 6, 1987, and rose to the topmost technical post of Engineer-in-Chief, eventually serving as Director Commercial and Director HR of PSPCL between March 1,2023 and March 28, 2025. During this period, he held dual charge with remarkable effectiveness, earning the admiration of colleagues and stakeholders alike.
