Police spokesperson Chamkaur Sing said that to curb crime and maintain law and order in the district, police is checking vehicles by setting up blockades.
Especially, drivers without number plate and with covered face are being monitored. Superintendent of Police Surendra Singh Bhauria has appealed to all the petrol pump operators of the district not to give fuel to drivers with covered face and without number plate, because often such people escape after committing a crime. They cannot be identified.
