Departments with high complaint volume must act swiftly, says CTM Gurvinder Singh

City Magistrate Gurvinder Singh has directed departments with a higher number of public grievances to make special efforts for their prompt resolution. He emphasized that complaints raised during the Samadhan Shivir camps should be resolved in a time-bound manner, and inter-departmental coordination must be strengthened where grievances involve multiple departments to avoid unnecessary delays.
Presiding over a review meeting with district officers after a state-level video conference on Friday, Singh instructed all department heads to attend review meetings with updated status reports of pending grievances. He also directed them to take complaints registered on the CM Window and Jan Samvad Portal with equal seriousness.
