Motherwell man jailed after drugs found in his home

Hearing The man was convicted of a drug charge at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.

A Motherwell joiner caught with high purity cocaine worth £125,000 has been jailed for a year.

Police acting on a tip-off found 1.5kg of the Class A drug in a rucksack at Steven Scott's home.

Scott, 38, of Milton Street, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday. He admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine on May 16 last year.

He was detained when police officers turned up at his home with a search warrant.
