Police called to a disturbance at a Motherwell tower block found a resident armed with a screwdriver.

Ryan McLelland gave no reason for having the tool, but Hamilton Sheriff Court heard he was raging after being assaulted earlier.
McLelland, 37, was jailed for eight months. He admitted having an offensive weapon and acting in a threatening or abusive manner in Glen Tower on October 11.
