It's 65 years of wedded bliss for Jim and Janet

There was plenty of love, laughter, and a touch of Blue Sapphire sparkle at Beechwood Care Home in Wishaw as residents and staff helped Mr and Mrs Bowman celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary.

Special day Janet and Jim Bowman celebrated their anniversary

Janette, known fondly as Janet, and her husband Jim Bowman enjoyed a wonderful afternoon surrounded by family, friends, and their Beechwood family.

There was music, cake, and plenty of reminiscing as the couple marked more than six decades of marriage with staff and family members.

The pair first met at the Lanark Palace ‘Dancing The Pally’ as it was affectionately known, where sparks quickly flew.
