Torquay return to Plainmoor for the first time in three weeks and there is expected to be another big crowd for this level against a team that features a player that last turned out for England in 2012 - but at 36 will still be a threat, if selected.

Andy Carroll, the former Newcastle United, Liverpool and West Ham United striker, played nine times for England between 2010 and 2012 but was playing in France for the last couple of seasons. His signing by National South side Dagenham, who had just been relegated from the National League, made headlines in the summer though - and no wonder.

But his start with the London club has not gone to plan. He picked up an injury in preseason, came on asa substitute in his first game, and was sent off in his next, an FA clash against Bedford Town. This game, against Torquay, is the first for which he is available again after his ban.
