Young farmers decry tax reforms
Western Mail
|April 29, 2025
YOUNG Farmers' Clubs have voted by an overwhelming 98.9% majority to pass a motion denouncing the UK Government's proposed changes to inheritance tax.
-
The motion was debated at the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs' (NFYFC) Annual Meeting of Clubs, held in Leamington Spa.
It was proposed by Luke Cox, from Wiltshire, who asked members to agree that the proposed tax reforms would have a detrimental impact on the next generation of farmers and threaten the security of family farms.
