Wrexham set to test Rovers' resolve over skipper Travis

WREXHAM are rumoured to be considering a substantial offer for the skipper of one of their Championship competitors.

The Red Dragons are reportedly among several clubs showing interest in Blackburn Rovers’ Lewis Travis.
The midfielder's contract at Ewood Park is set to expire in a year, and there have been no discussions about renewing his terms.
Following their promotion from League One in April, Wrexham have now shown interest in acquiring his services, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
It's suggested that the 27-year-old could cost the Welsh club, co-owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, around £2million.
The sum matches the record fee they paid to bring striker Sam Smith from Reading in January.
