DIY SOS host Nick Knowles has said the whole of a Welsh village came out to apologise after a “negative incident” on their latest project.
The BBC programme sends experts to help volunteers transform the homes of a family in need.
‘The projects are incredible, life-changing and always hard work - something that the weather has made even trickier for the latest project in Llanberis, Eryri.
‘The team have been battling awful weather, but then also the alleged theft of lights, wheelbarrows and mixers.
Mr Knowles shared a video on his Instagram in the week featuring the workers’ whose items were allegedly taken saying they were “mortified”.
“We're mortified for the community here,” he said at the time but warned people “not to get carried away” with social media posts about the incident. He said they were “loving” being in north Wales.
