Strictly star Amy 'resting' after latest surgery

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has said she is home recovering days after undergoing a second mastectomy.

The 35-year-old dancer, pictured, previously reassured fans the surgery had not been related to a “new cancer diagnosis’, and added how her medical team expected a “straightforward recovery”.
The dancer, from Caerphilly, missed the 2023 Strictly series after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The star underwent a mastectomy but doctors subsequently found she had “another type of cancer” which required chemotherapy. She has since revealed she had to undergo a second mastectomy.
