RAMSEY ISSUES A PLEA TO FANS

NEW interim Cardiff City boss Aaron Ramsey has pleaded with fans to get behind his team as he launches a three-game rescue mission to save to club from relegation disaster.
Ramsey, who has taken over from the sacked Omer Riza, will be in the dugout for the trio of matches which will now define the season, starting with today's must-win game at home to Oxford United (3pm).
The Wales international has promised supporters a performance full of energy and attacking intent, but says his players will need supporters to help them over the line.
The Bluebirds are currently 23rd in the Championship table, a point from safety and without a win in five league matches.
The slump into the relegation zone, which featured Friday's defeat at high-flying Sheffield United, ultimately cost Riza his job, with the Cardiff board announcing the news over the weekend.
Wales captain Ramsey will be in charge of team affairs until the end of the campaign.
