New series of BBC drama filming in Welsh bakery

ACTORS Timothy Spall and Gwyneth Keyworth have been spotted filming scenes for the second series of the BBC One comedy crime drama Death Valley at Brød, a Danish bakery in Penarth.

It has become a notable filming location for the series, serving as the a cafe where Spall's character, retired actor John Chapel, and Keyworth's character, Detective Sergeant Janie Mallowan, meet to discuss cases.
In May, Brød posted on Facebook, encouraging fans to visit and recreate a scene at “table D3, downstairs,” just as Spall did in the show.
