Justice for victims of reckless driving

A MOTHER'S determination to speak out despite everything her family has been through after their son sustained horrific lifelong injuries at the hands of a dangerous driver is to be commended.

By doing so, Lorraine Beattie hopes to warn and educate drivers about the potential consequences of their actions.

Her son Sean White was one of three passengers seriously injured by Zac Thomas, who had downed a bottle of vodka in a park before he raced away from police in his VW Polo.

The car eventually slammed into a hedge after Thomas drove across a field in an attempt to “lose” the officers.
