Hook is backing Morse for Japan

JAMES Hook has had his say on who thinks will be on the plane to Japan with Wales this summer.

Some selections will, of course, be contingent on Lions selection, however it is unlikely that there will be many Welshmen troubling the scorers when Andy Farrell announces his squad, given how shocking the national team’s performances have been.

However, when speaking about Ospreys players, there are a few that Hook picked out.

Speaking about back-row Morgan Morse, Hook told the BBC Scrum V podcast: “He is destined for a cap. You'd like to think he'd go to Japan.”

Relating to the battle for the No.10, the ex-Wales fly-half added: “I think you'll see them both there, [Sam] Costelow and Dan Edwards.

“Dan has got a longer kicking game and a better kicking game at the moment.
