A TAXI driver who was pulled over by police and found in possession of 2kg of cocaine has been ordered to pay back £128,000.

Mohammed Yamin, from Newport, was driving along the A472 near the village of Pontllanfraith on May 22, 2023, when officers from Gwent Police conducted a stop and search.

Inside Yamin's taxi was a quantity of "high-purity cocaine" that was being transported to the Blackwood area. Meanwhile further searches led police to find Yamin in possession of £17,000 in cash.
