£8m TV windfall

WREXHAM'S ascent to the Championship is not only a triumph on the pitch but also brings a significant monetary incentive for their star-studded ownership duo.
-
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds are poised to reap an £8 million windfall in television revenue following the Red Dragons securing promotion with a match to spare.
Prior to Wrexham clinching their spot, Kieran Maguire, a specialist in football finances, provided insight into the financial implications during a chat with talkSPORT.
"If we start with the money coming in, which is spectacular, Wrexham made three times as much money as any other club in League Two, more than any other club in League One, and they would actually be in the top half of the Championship," he explained.
