Cotterill admitted that his Cheltenham Town side were below par in their 1-1 home draw with Harrogate - but insisted that the referee “couldn't wait” to give the visitors the penalty from which they equalised late on.The Robins looked to have made the crucial move 17 minutes from time when Jake Bickerstaff broke the deadlock, but Harrogate were level just seven minutes later via a Conor McAleny spot-kick.

Asked how he viewed the game, Cheltenham boss Cotterill said: “With disappointment. I thought we looked leggy today. We didn’t look sharp and Tuesday's game took a lot out of us. That’s our third game this week and they've had two. That showed in the sharpness, or lack of sharpness.

“The last couple of games before today have been highly-emotional and there has been an incredible amount of hard work put in.
