Lewis backs Taylor to keep on producing

GLOUCESTERSHIRE director of cricket Jon Lewis is hoping for “many more match-winning performances” from Matt Taylor after the pace bowler agreed a new two-year contract at the club, writes Keith Watson.
Taylor, who made his debut for the county as a 17-year-old in 2011, has agreed a new deal, announced on Thursday.
Lewis, a fellow seam bowler and Academy graduate of the county, said: “We're delighted that Matt has extended his time at Gloucestershire, which we hope will take him into his 16th, 17th and 18th seasons at the club.
“He pours his heart and soul into the club and is a true team player, always willing to do the hard yards for the side.
