Europa finalists continue to struggle domestically

EUROPA League finalists Manchester United and Tottenham both suffered home defeats on their return to domestic action yesterday, with West Ham winning 2-0 at Old Trafford and Crystal Palace beating their London rivals by the same score.

United’s embarrassing Premier League campaign continued as fellow strugglers West Ham took a first top-flight victory at Old Trafford since 2007.
