BRISTOL City have an almost impossible task ahead of them if they are to achieve their Premier League dream following a 3-0 home defeat to Sheffield United in the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final last night.
Chris Wilder's side hold all the aces after a red card for City's Rob Dickie was followed by goals from Harrison Burrows, Andre Brooks and Callum O'Hare.
The Robins had hearts in mouths early on as a long throw from Jack Robinson caused all sorts of issues as Tyrese Campbell got his head to the ball ahead of the on-rushing Max O'Leary and into the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
The hosts then came close to breaking the deadlock themselves as Joe Williams rattled the crossbar from long range after being nicely teed up by Anis Mehmeti.
