Arrests after police called to Salisbury Plain rave

THREE people were arrested at an illegal rave on MoD land on the edge of Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.

Police were called to the remote location off Pear Tree Lane near Great Cheverell in the early hours of Sunday. Officers estimated 100 to 150 people were in attendance at the military-owned site and three people were arrested on suspicion of drug-related incidents.
Generators, large speakers and a stage area were found at the location which was within earshot of the village, nearby Erlestoke Prison and some social media users reported hearing it as far away as Westbury and Heytesbury.
