CONGRATULATIONS to our own Lee Trewhela who was named Local Democracy Reporter (LDR) of the Year at a national awards ceremony in Manchester late last month.

Lee beat political journalists from across the UK to take the trophy, which was presented to him by broadcaster and TV personality Carol Vorderman.
