Rabada and pressure: a match made in heaven in Proteas v Australia final
Weekend Argus on Saturday
|May 17, 2025
PROTEAS fast bowler Kagiso Rabada heads into the World Test Championship final against Australia in June with the added pressure of the recent drug scandal.
The Rabada situation has made rounds all around the world, with the 29-year-old being judged and questioned for his actions.
Despite the scandal having passed, in that the fast bowler has apologised in a statement and served a one-month suspension that included an educational programme, the Australian Test team and the Australian media will most certainly have a go at the fast bowler.
When the fast bowler touches down in London, the spotlight will be on him and how he handles the chirps the Australian Test team will serve, and whether or not he will crumble and thus let South Africa down in what is the biggest Test match for the Proteas in over a decade.
