Resilient sectors much more intriguing for dealmaking entities across Vietnam
Vietnam Investment Review

Cross-border deals in Vietnam are ramping up in tech, logistics, energy, and more.
On April 10, global digital asset exchange OKX Ventures, tech company Web3, and fintech fund HashKey Capital made strategic investment in CAEX Vietnam, a cryptoasset exchange platform. Alongside the founding Vietnamese shareholders, VPBankS and LynkiD, the parties aim to develop a locally focused digital asset exchange platform.
With other shareholders, OKX and HashKey will contribute funds to CAEX in April so that it can meet minimum capital requirements of VND10 trillion ($380 million) to participate in Vietnam's pilot programme for regulated cryptoasset trading.
Haiyang Ru, CEO of the HashKey Exchange Business Group, said, “Vietnam is one of the most vibrant markets in Asia. These conditions create an ideal environment for the next generation of licensed cryptoasset enterprises.”
In late March, CJ Logistics inked a deal to scoop up the remaining 49.1 per cent stake in CJ Gemadept Logistics Holdings from Gemadept Corporation.
