Classic comedy will bowl you over

FOR its next production, Ruislip Dramatic Society returns to the Compass Theatre with a hilarious comedy set around a village cricket team's antics on and off the pitch, in Outside Edge.

Picture a perfect summer's day, a cricket green and pavilion, a match about to begin and a splendid tea on the agenda... yet stormy weather is forecast for this team along with their wives and partners.

Their Captain, Roger Dervish, is determined to keep everyone together and lead them to triumph. But can he succeed, or will he be out for a duck? There's Bob, who is supposed to be playing but may now instead need to visit his first wife while carefully avoiding his second wife.
