CULLOMPTON were on the receiving end of a nine-wicket hiding when they ran into Torquay & Kingskerswell in the Devon County League A Division.
Cullompton's total of 186 all out was made to look very modest indeed as the Seasiders polished it off inside 33 overs for a comprehensive victory.
Three defeats in the last four starts - Hatherleigh was the odd one out - has dropped Cullompton to within just five points of the relegation places in the strong division.
A win at Thorverton this Saturday would be a welcome step in the right direction for skipper Brendon Parr.
