Xabi's make or break date with Real destiny

XABI ALONSO admitted he would not be surprised if he is sacked by Real Madrid should they lose at Alaves tonight.
The under-fire Real head coach (right with Kylian Mbappe in training yesterday) faces a potential make-or-break fixture in LaLiga after winning just two of their previous eight matches in all competitions.
Reports in Spain claim that Real Madrid B head coach Alvaro Arbeloa - Alonso's former teammate at Liverpool - is being lined up to replace him in the first-team hot-seat.
Alonso has only been in charge at the Bernabeu since the summer, but insisted he has not been caught off-guard by the demands of the job.
