Burning when you pee, needing the toilet constantly, lower tummy discomfort - urinary tract infections (UTIs) are uncomfortable, disruptive and very common.

In fact, around a third of women will experience cystitis by the age of 24, and many go on to have repeat infections.

The good news? Thanks to the rollout of Pharmacy First in England, many people with suspected UTIs can now get assessment, advice and treatment directly from a pharmacist, and often without needing to see a GP.
