Today's sales ban will help children addicted to e-cigs

A BAN on disposable vape sales comes into force today amid hopes it will clear up our streets - and help kids kick the habit.

The head of the UK's first vape clinic has warned children as young as 11 sleep with devices under their pillows.

Today's ban means retailers will no longer be able to sell single-use e-cigs either online or in store, with £200 fines for any that flout the rules.

Many were yesterday offloading the devices for as little as 50p as the stock is now worthless to them.
