Amorim fears over Dorgu 'anxiety' are still on the rise

- BY STEPHEN RAILSTON

RUBEN AMORIM believes he can sense "anxiety" from his defender Patrick Dorgu.

The Denmark star has been in and out of the first XI this season. He was recalled against Spurs and kept his berth against Everton but was brought off in Monday's 1-0 loss.

Signed from Lecce in the January transfer window for £25million, with a potential £4m in add-ons, Dorgu's still trying to find his United feet.

Diogo Dalot started at left wing-back in wins against Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton during an excellent October, but the Portugal international then disappointed against Nottingham Forest.

The form of Dorgu and Dalot means there has not been a settled starter at left wing-back.

Amorim was asked if that may be a position to strengthen and said: "Guys, we have time to think about that, I don't know what is going to happen in January.
