Out-of-sorts England capitulate to rampant Irish in front of Princess Catherine
MARO ITOJE'S planned 100-cap celebrations fell flat as Ireland gatecrashed his Twickenham party and ruined England's Six Nations.
Henry Pollock was yellow-carded on his England debut and skipper Itoje was hauled off after 54 minutes on a humiliating day for Steve Borthwick’s side.
All the pre-tournament chat of wanting England fans flooding into Paris in two weeks for a championship decider is now hot air as the Red Roses were taken to the cleaners in front of Catherine, Princess of Wales (below).
Scrumhalf Jamison Gibson-Park and Stuart McCloskey were the Irish stars but nearly every man in green outshone their opposite number.
McCloskey summed up the difference in attitude when — with the game done — he chased down Marcus Smith and chopped him down to save a try. He was still hungry despite feasting on England all afternoon.

It must grate. Sir Jim has to pay £16million to 'foreign workers' that caused expensive chaos while Carrick is inexpensive normality ... we know which one United need right now
CONSIDERING he objects to the United Kingdom being \"colonised by immigrants\", it is a touch ironic that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is having to set aside the best part of £16million to pay off a small group of foreign workers.
