MP's call to close ban-busting loophole

MONSTER vape kits with the puff-power of more than 8,000 cigarettes must be outlawed, a senior MP has warned.

Beccy Cooper, who is also a public health doctor, is calling for the Tobacco & Vapes Bill to close loopholes which are being exploited to sell 100,000-drag packages.

They can cost less than £7 and are becoming popular following the ban on disposable vapes last June.

Dr Cooper told us: "So-called 'monster vapes' undermine the spirit of the ban on disposable vapes and existing limits on tank size.

"Devices marketed as delivering tens of thousands of puffs raise serious health concerns and should not be available on the UK market."
