Well, I did get thrown out of the Commons

- BY SOPHIE HUSKISSON Political Correspondent

IT is not often you get to play games with elected Members of Parliament.

But that is exactly what I am doing on the Mirror's new show, Party Games, which launched last night on our YouTube channel.

Wearing a party hat, I spin a wheel of fortune to decide which shindig classics to play with guests from across the political spectrum.

There's the Ask Me Anything round, Would You Rather? - where MPs have to choose between two painful options - and Never Have I Ever.

In Hug, Marry, Avoid, MPs pick who they'd cuddle or swerve from a list of three - Reform UK's Nigel Farage, Lee Anderson and Richard Tice for example.

And the 30-Second Pitch round is where guests get to talk about an issue, cause or campaign that they are passionate about.

In an age where MPs face increasingly vicious intimidation, hate and violence, we hope the Mirror's show will allow viewers to get to know the humans behind the pomp of Westminster.
