GREAT BRITAIN’s 4x400m teams secured a pair of dramatic bronzes to complete the set of taking a podium spot in all five relay events.

Odds of a full hIS RELAY ouse had looked good after bronze in the mixed 4x400m last week was followed by a silver in the women’s 4x100m and another bronze in the men’s 4x100m on Friday. And the fact both 4x400m teams looked so assured in qualification meant the question turned to what colour the medal might be.

Yet it proved to be a little more nervy than that.
