Walcott to coach sprint ace Thompson-Herah

Five-gold Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah, who will be trying for a third consecutive 100m-200m sprint double at the 2024 Paris Olympics, will train under coach Reynaldo Walcott, her agent said.

Andi Sports Management, in an Instagram post on Nov 20, said the 31-year-old Jamaican sprint star will join Elite Performance Track Club and train under Walcott, as does compatriot Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, a 10-gold world champion and 100m champion at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics in Beijing and London respectively.
"Out of difficulties grow miracles. Happy Monday," ThompsonHerah posted on social media.
