Singaporean ringleader of sex club in Malaysia among 36 held in raids

A Singaporean ringleader of a "swingers" syndicate in Malaysia, which organised group sex events for its 147,000 subscribers or "clients", was among 36 people nabbed following police raids this week.

It is learnt that the syndicate, which operated online, offered subscribers a chance to swop partners as well as take part in group sex escapades in condominiums around Klang Valley. Each customer was charged RM388 (S$117) to become a subscriber.
The syndicate, led by the Singaporean and a Malaysian, is believed to have been operating since early 2024.
Following surveillance and intelligence-gathering efforts in June, the Royal Malaysia Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID), along with other agencies, raided a condominium in Mont Kiara at about 8.30pm on Aug 25.
Deputy Commissioner Fadil Marsus, deputy director of the CID, said 34 people - 18 men and 16 women were detained in the first raid.
