Prospect of BTS stage reunion thrills K-pop fans worldwide

Thousands of international fans of K-pop megastar group BTS gathered on June 13 in the suburbs of Seoul, amid mounting excitement over an expected reunion of the boy band after all the members complete mandatory military service.

The BTS Festa in 2025 marks the 12th anniversary of BTS, who last performed together in 2022. The South Korean group have not toured since 2019 because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the members' subsequent military service obligations.
All seven members appeared at the concert on June 13, but only Jungkook, J-Hope and Jin performed in front of about 27,000 fans, according to BTS' management agency Hybe.
