(4) THE AFRICA HOUSE has lost his way of late, but also tries the Polytrack and could challenge the top pick.

(5) READY and (7) GLOBAL STATE are capable of making the frame.

RACE 2 (1,000M) (2) ELLORIX is also course-and-distance suited, and will not go down without a fight.

(1) PARIS LASS is weighted to beat her rivals, and she is right at home over this track and trip.

(3) SYMBOL OF LOVE could make all the running if in the right mood.

(6) KINGS AGAIN won on local debut but this is a tougher race.

RACE 3 (1,200M) (6) DIAMOND JIM bumped a very good horse on debut and was not disgraced in third. He could be the right one.

(5) RIVER FERN returns from a break after his third on debut.

(1) KHICHDI and (2) CAPTAIN CLEVER both make their local debut and would not be surprise winners.

RACE 4 (1,900M) It is very hard to look past (1) LANA VIEW and (2) GLOBAL SCENE. Lana View has improved on this surface and has more scope for improvement, so she gets the vote to score. Global Scene has been threatening to win for some time, and this is yet another golden opportunity for her.

(3) BLIND FAITH is not reliable but did improve last time. She can contest the finish again.
