Fatal stabbing of S'porean in Brussels Detention of teen suspects extended

Two 18-year-old men suspected of fatally stabbing a 25-year-old Singaporean student in the city centre of Brussels on Nov 7 will remain in detention, according to the Belgian media.
One of them appeared before Belgium's council chamber on Nov 29, where his pre-trial detention was extended by a month, local media outlet Bruzz reported.
The second suspect had appeared before the council chamber on Nov 13, where his pre-trial detention was also extended by a month.
The duo were arrested for manslaughter.
Mr B. Aravind Pillay was stabbed in the abdomen and taken to hospital, where he died, according to a statement from the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office that same day.
