Arteta wary of 'super intense' Magpies

LONDON - Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is wary of Newcastle United as he prepares for his side's English Premier League trip to St James' Park on Nov 2.
-
Both teams head into the clash on the back of midweek League Cup victories - the Gunners easily beat Championship side Preston North End 3-0, while the Magpies clinched an impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea.
But Arsenal have lost ground in the Premier League title race, sitting third in the standings with a five-point gap to leaders Manchester City.
Following last week's 2-2 draw with Liverpool, they are third on 18 points, behind the Reds (22) and City (23).
"The league position after nine games is very tricky.
(Newcastle) are a fantastic team, really well coached, they are a super intense team," said Arteta on Nov 1.
"Great stadium to play, you know the energy you are going to face there so I'm looking forward to it."
