Punjab Face NEUFC, Hope To Regain Form

Struggling Punjab FC will hope to put behind a recent run of poor results and turn their fortunes around as they face an upbeat NorthEast United FC in an Indian Super League (ISL) encounter on Saturday at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.
A win will see Punjab, who have 18 points, move just one point away from the playoffs position.
NorthEast United FC, who are currently on 22 points and occupy the last playoff position, will look for a positive result in order to remain in contention for qualification for the playoff places during the 2024-25 season of the ISL.
Speaking on the recent form, PFC head coach Panagiotis Dilmperis said, "Of course when one team is not having the desired results, losing four games in a row, it makes us feel that we have to improve our game."
