12.38 lakh Indians return from West Asia, says MEA

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday informed that around 12,38,000 passengers have returned to India from West Asia since 28 February.
The MEA said it remains actively engaged with the evolving developments in the Gulf and West Asia region, prioritising the well-being, safety and support of the Indian community residing there.
Addressing an inter-ministerial briefingin the national capital on recent developments in West Asia, Additional Secretary (Gulf), MEA, Aseem R Mahajan, said: “The overall flight situation continues to improve, with additional flights operating from the region to India. Since 28 February, around 12,38,000 passengers have travelled from the region to India.”
