Two fishing trawlers capsized in separate incidents in the Bay of Bengal early on Saturday amid turbulent sea conditions, but all 29 fishermen on board were rescued, according to officials and local fishermen's associations.
The first incident occurred around dawn when a trawler named FB Shakila, carrying 13 fishermen, developed a hull breach and began taking on water approximately 35 kilometers off Jambu Island in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The vessel had departed from the Dash Mile Ghat area in Namkhana.
