The BJP and Congress on Thursday traded charges over a scuffle between lawmakers of the two parties at Parliament premises earlier in the day. Both the NDA and INDIA bloc MPs had staged a protest in Parliament premises, when the scuffle broke out between the two sides, injuring two BJP MPs- Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput. The BJP MPs were admitted to Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi alleged that he was hurt after a push from Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. Sarangi claimed that he was standing on stairs when another member of Parliament fell on him, leading to an injury on his head.
