India's shooters continued their dominance at the 16th Asian Shooting Championship in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, with Arjun Babuta and Elavenil Valarivan clinching gold in the 10m air rifle mixed team event on Saturday.
The Indian duo rallied from a slow start to outclass China's Dingke Lu and Xinlu Peng 17-11 in the final. After tentative early scores of 9.5 and 10.1, Babuta and Elavenil found their rhythm and produced a clinical display to seal the title.
