From a traditional joint family at Chinsura in Hooghly district to a plush, elegant jewellery showroom at a posh Loudon Street address, from doing social development works for an international donor agency, selling insurance products for banks, trading in commodities (especially bullion trading) to running a boutique jewellery outlet—she has done everything with elan and has always made things look so easy.

She keeps drawing inspirations from her daughter, who now plays for the Indian women's national cricket team and was part of the 2023 U19 Women's T20 World Cup winning Indian team. She was also named Player of the Match in the final.

Bhramar Mullick, has now set out on her new entrepreneurial journey with a boutique jewellery outlet, already lining up ambitious plans of turning it into a multi-outlet jewellery chain with an online retail force to reckon with.

Speaking to The Statesman, Founder-Director of Auram Jewellery, narrates her fascinating entrepreneurial journey and the future roadmap. Excerpts:

Q: Auram Jewellery is just five months old and seems to be already making its mark in Kolkata's jewellery space. How did it all happen? How did you come up to this stage?
