Speaking to The Statesman, Arijeet Talapatra, CEO, itel India, explains how he company is working on ‘o ensure that it remains the preferred brand when the large base of feature phone users switch to smartphones and also to ensure that the ransition is smooth.

Q:itel has recently launched the A90 Limited Edition. How is this launch part of your overall vision?

Currently, we are the only brand in India to offer Military Grade durability in the sub 7K segment We have a dominant presence in the sub 7K segment with a significant market share of 29 per cent (including both feature phones and smartphones) - which speaks volumes about the brand equity of itel in India.
