Netdirecttax collection rises7 pcto₹2.92trillion between April- November

The net direct tax collection grew 7per cent to Rs 1292 trillion between April 1 and 10 November.
Asperthe official government data, India’s net direct tax collection was helped by higher corporate tax receipts and a drop in refund payouts.
Gross direct tax collections before refunds amounted to Rs 15.35 trillion, reflecting a 2.15per cent increase from the previous year. In FY 2024-25, the comparable figure stood at Rs 15.03 trillion.
