Rekha Gupta calls Tiranga Yatra a symbol of prosperity, unity, and progress, and the dream of every Indian
To mark the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, the MPs' Bike rally was flagged off by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta from Bharat Mandapam, here on Tuesday.
The rally, which commenced from the venue, which aims to inspire citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes and display it with pride, was attended by Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Sanjay Seth, among other MPs.
Talking about the campaign, Gupta said that the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' has deeply instilled patriotism in the hearts of every citizen and child. "Thousands of programmes, including Tiranga Yatras and soldier participation, are uniting citizens across the country," she added. Taking a dig at the opposition, the Delhi Chief Minister said that such enthusiasm and widespread public participation had never been seen before 2014. "Those who carry the Constitution in their hands will neither be seen holding the Tricolour nor chanting 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'," she remarked. Describing the national flag as the soul of the nation, she called it a symbol of prosperity, unity, and progress, and the dream of every Indian to see it fly high at all times.

A gift that addresses global challenges
On 26 November, India celebrated Constitution Day, a day to commemorate the adoption of its foundational legal document in 1949. This Constitution is a remarkable blend of borrowed features and indigenous wisdom, a living document that accommodates diversity and promotes inclusivity. At its core lies an inherent spirit of mediation and peaceful coexistence, deeply influenced by the ethical framework of Mahatma Gandhi and India's ancient civilizational ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family). Understanding this spirit is crucial, as it offers a potent, indigenous model for addressing some of the most pressing global challenges of the 21st century.
